Compare example quantities

Using those chart columns, 20 US gallons corresponds to 2 or 4 fl oz; 40 gallons corresponds to 4 or 8 fl oz. These calculations follow the published levels and are not a reason to invent a higher one.

Keep the chart name on the note

Write Cetane Boost, the selected level and the package directions beside the calculation. If another additive is also used, give it a separate line. Do not transfer a cleaning or winter-product ratio to this bottle.

Handle unusual fills carefully

For partial fills, clarify the fuel quantity and any prior treatment. If using liters, use the appropriate manufacturer instructions rather than inserting liters into a gallons formula. Ask for help if the history or calculation is uncertain.

Check the official directions

Use the current package label and manufacturer documents for treatment rates, handling and application details.
