Use the whole itinerary
A warm departure does not describe the overnight stop. Put destination conditions beside the fuel-stop plan. Treat this as a preparation task with a named place and time, rather than an alert to react to later.
Check the existing tank
For an infrequently used truck, find out when it was last filled and whether it was treated. For a shared truck, ask the last driver. Unknown history should prompt a check, not an automatic extra dose.
Order ahead
Check the delivery estimate before placing an online order. If the departure date leaves no margin, make a separate plan to obtain supplies. This site does not provide immediate local stock or roadside delivery.

- Find the last convenient pre-trip fuel stop.
- Record what has already been added.
Questions before you buy
Should I wait until the engine will not start?
No. That is an existing fault to assess, not a sensible trigger for preventive preparation.
Does a warm home forecast settle the decision?
No. Include the route, destination and time parked outside when planning.
